PRESTASI Penting JUJUR Yang Utama

Sebanyak 1,8 juta siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA) dan madrasah aliyah (MA) mengikuti ujian nasional (UN) yang dimulai hari Senin kemarin (10/04/2017). Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan berharap seluruh peserta UN menghadapi UN dengan tenang.

"Sebanyak 1.812.035 siswa SMA/MA mengikuti UN tahun ini. Kami berharap pelaksanaan UN berjalan lancar dan tanpa kecurangan," ujar Kepala Pusat Penilaian Pendidikan Balitbang Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemdikbud), Nizam, seperti dikutip dari Antara, Senin (10/4),

Sebanyak 1.812.035 siswa tersebut berasal dari 20.557 sekolah. Dari jumlah tersebut, ternyata tak semuanya mengikuti Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer (UNBK).

10.905 sekolah atau 667.741 peserta mengikuti Ujian Nasional Kertas Pensil (UNKP) dan 9.652 sekolah atau 1.144. 294 peserta yang mengikuti UNBK.

Nizam berharap pelaksanaan UNBK untuk tingkat SMA berjalan lancar, karena soal - soal untuk SMA lebih sederhana dan tidak menggunakan video animasi. Sehingga bisa diakses berbagai komputer dengan raga spesifikasi yang berbeda.

Dia juga meminta agar pelaksanaan UN bebas dari kecurangan.

"Pendidikan harus kita jauhkan dari kecurangan, integritas anak kita bangun mulai dari pendidikan. Sekolah harus menjadi zona berintegritas, bebas kecurangan," ungkap Nizam.

"Namun kita tetap harus waspada. Pak Mendikbud sudah menyampaikan bagi guru yang terlibat melakukan kecurangan akan diberi sanksi keras. Mulai dari penghentian tunjangan profesi, mencabut sertifikat, sampai pemecatan," cetus dia.

Mendikbud Muhadjir Effendy sendiri lewat video yang diunggah di akun Twitternya menekankan bahwa kejujuran adalah nilai yang paling penting ditanamkan dalam pelaksanaan ujian tahun ini.

"Kepada seluruh siswa dan warga belajar, belajar yang keras, jaga kesehatan dan jangan lupa berdoa kepada Tuhan. Berkonsentrasi, teliti, percaya diri, junjung tinggi kejujuran dan jauhi kecurangan pada saat mengerjakan soal ujian." kata Muhadjir.

Ia menambahkan, Ujian Nasional bukan hanya semata untuk berlomba-lomba mengejar nilai yang tinggi. Menurutnya, pendidikan karakter adalah hal yang utama menjadi nilai terpenting bagi siswa.

"Prestasi penting tapi jujur adalah yang utama," ungkap Muhadjir.
